Forklift Operator & Storeperson (Freight Sorter/Auditor)
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Auditor / Freight Sorter to join a busy transport and logistics operation based in Auckland. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with freight handling experience, strong forklift skills, and a keen eye for detail.
If you have experience checking and auditing freight, loading and unloading trucks, and operating forklifts with long forks, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced team environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring freight is accurately sorted, labelled, and dispatched while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
What’s on offer:
$26-$28 ph+ 8% holiday pay + weekly pay
50 plus hours a week
Afternoons available 10-12 hour days
Monday - Friday
Ongoing, stable work with potential for long-term permanent opportunities after 3 months for the right candidate

On-site parking and consistent hours
Key responsibilities:
Safely operate counterbalance with Long forks
Move, load, and store goods within the facility
Load / Unload trucks safely
Complete stock movement records and basic paperwork accurately
Carry out basic mathematical calculations for stock counts and materials
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
What we’re looking for:
Proven experience operating counterbalance forklifts with long forks/attachments
Valid Counter Balance Forklift License
Full NZ Driver Licence
Strong basic mathematic skills (for counts, measurements, and stock accuracy)
Confident completing paperwork and stock documentation
Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented
Have 2 contactable references
* Have the ability to lift upto 25kgs
