Frontier Transport Bulk Dispatcher

**Position Purpose**: To effectively manage and dispatch a fleet of drivers for bulk distribution operations, with continuous focus on customer service and satisfaction, as well as equipment and personnel productivity within a safe and compliant operation. This position will also require good interpersonal skills to work in a team environment as well as with other terminal locations.

**General duties and Responsibilities**

• Manage daily dispatch operations of Bulk Transportation Fleet
• Develop and maintain relationships with drivers and focus on superior customer service at all times
• Maintain high level of productivity on equipment and personnel
• Ensure driver compliance with company procedures and policies
• Promote safety in operations
• Provide accurate detailed information to drivers on load instructions
• Manage exceptions – last minute changes, emergency loads, etc.
• Proficient use of TMW operating system, responsible for uploading documents into system to maintain up-to-date accounts receivables.
• Develop higher degree of use for Samsara communications to reduce unnecessary telephone and text interchange between dispatch and drivers.
• Maintain dispatch status updates for all moves
• Ensure accurate entry of driver and equipment on each load
• Document any issues that may lead to driver disciplinary actions and make recommendation of those actions.
• Provide performance review input for drivers and document accordingly.
• Route driver into terminal when necessary.
• Monitor backhaul availability and secure loads when possible.
• Track equipment and ensure it is at terminal when not in use.
• Develop relationships with other terminal and office personnel to work together on the “whole picture”.
• Other duties as may be assigned.
