**We’re Hiring!**

We are currently looking to fill **10 full-time, permanent positions** for **Greenhouse Operation Lead** in our **Greenhouse Department** at our **Leamington ON Farms** facility.

**What You'll Do:**

• Coach employees and demonstrate proper plant maintenance processes such as pruning, twisting, de-leafing, picking, clipping, string tying etc. on an on-going basis.
• During crop turnover, ensure all cleanout tasks and start up tasks are completed, including ensuring the greenhouse is cleaned and ready for planting.
• Monitor plant conditions such as pests, diseases, and maintenance issues and reporting any concerns.
• Motivate and encourage the team to reach individual and company objectives.
• Continuous coaching and training of all team members to ensure they understand the activities and best practices to achieve objectives.
• Collaborate with the Greenhouse Manager and Greenhouse Supervisors to ensure proper allocation of staff and work.
• Submit and follow-up of work orders for the greenhouse and oversee/coordinate general maintenance as needed.
• Communicate with other departments to ensure seamless continuity between production with warehouse and other departments as needed.
• Support the Greenhouse Manager to ensure operations remain within budget for labor and throughout; monitor and measure performance to minimize downtime, reduce costs i.e., reducing hours and improve quality and efficiency.
• Complete required documentation, records, and checklists; submit to appropriate management personnel.
• Review and approve employee time-off requests, manage schedules, and ensure accurate, timely submission of timecards to support smooth payroll processing
• Deliver accurate crop projections within 10% accuracy daily.
• Initiate, participate in, and support continuous improvement qualities.
• Oversee the general housekeeping of assigned bunk houses.
• Effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members while monitoring progress and providing guidance to ensure successful completion of assigned work.
• Must comply with all Health and Safety, Food Safety, Bio Security and Nature Fresh Policies and Procedures.

**What You Bring:**

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional work environment, in both English and Spanish.
• Greenhouse Operations experience is considered an asset.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and motivate a team.
• Excellent documentation, attention to detail, and time management skills required.
• Basic mathematical skills are required.

**What To Expect:**

• Fast paced greenhouse environment where temperatures can be very hot, humid, moist or cold for most of the year.
• The greenhouse environment may have bees, bugs, and pests.
• Collaborate effectively with a diverse team of individuals from various backgrounds and cultures.
• Standard workdays are Monday-Saturday, with additional hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays, depending on production schedules.
• Ability to lift and carry items typically ranging from 10–50 kg (22–110 lbs), depending on role requirements.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Utilizing and pulling a scissor cart.
• Must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

**What You’ll Earn:**

• $20.00-$22.00/hour
• Vacation Pay, Stat Holiday Pay, Benefits
