Handyman

About the role:

We are looking for a reliable, practical and hands-on Handyman / Facilities Maintenance Technician to join a professional facilities maintenance team in West Auckland. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems and keeping a busy site running smoothly.

Key responsibilities:

General handyman and building maintenance

Minor repairs and basic carpentry

Painting and touch-up work

Roof and gutter maintenance

Basic grounds, car park and general site maintenance

Furniture moves, deliveries and general site assistance

Centre setup and pack-down

Identifying maintenance issues and reporting them

Working alongside tenants, contractors and management

Using maintenance tools and equipment safely

About you:

Previous handyman, property maintenance, building or similar experience

Strong practical and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working independently

Good communication and customer service skills

Basic computer skills, including email and Excel

Current driver's licence

EWP experience or certification is advantageous

Reliable, punctual and professional

Positive can-do attitude

Pride in your workmanship and attention to detail
