We're on the hunt for a passionate, creative and ambitious Head Chef to take the reins at The Tartan Fox by Adam Handling, our stunning countryside pub nestled in the heart of Cornwall.

At The Tartan Fox, we're all about celebrating the very best of British hospitality – incredible local produce, bold flavours, sustainability and exceptional cooking without the fuss.

This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Head Chef to make their mark, lead an incredible kitchen team and bring fresh energy and creativity to our ever-evolving seasonal menus, while staying true to Chef Adam Handling's food philosophy.

What we're looking for

- An experienced Head Chef or ambitious Senior Sous Chef ready to take the next step.

- A genuine passion for seasonal British ingredients, sustainability and exceptional food.

- A creative, hands-on leader who inspires, motivates and develops their team.

- Strong commercial awareness, including food costs, GP management, stock control and labour budgets.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to consistently high standards.

- Someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and leads from the front.

- The ambition, personality and drive to push boundaries and take the restaurant to the next level.
