There is no option to work remotely.\r\n\r\nWork site environment: Hog and pig farming, Dusty, Hot, Noisy, Odours, Dirty\r\n\r\nWork setting: Rural area\r\n\r\nSupervision: 3-4 people\r\n\r\nWork conditions and physical capabilities: Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Attention to detail, Large workload\r\n\r\nPersonal suitability: Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Organized, Team player\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nJob Duties\r\n\r\n\r\n\tSupervise and oversee a section of the farm as Breeding Supervisor and Farrowing Supervisor\r\n\tWork under the Production Supervisor and contribute to the overall operations of the farm\r\n\tSupervise and train other farm workers\r\n\tOrganize tasks to accomplish the work\r\n\tDiagnose livestock health issues, Monitoring animal health, Treat livestock health issues\r\n\tHandling animals\r\n\tMarking livestock as proof of ownership\r\n\tPerform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration\r\n\tCarry out pen breeding programs\r\n\tFormulate feeding program\r\n\tMaintain livestock performance records, Maintain quality control and production records, Maintain work records and logs\r\n\tSelect livestock for sale\r\n\tSupervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs\r\n\tOperate and maintain farm machinery and equipment\r\n\tAssist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures; Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed\r\n\tPerform general farm duties\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\r\nEmployer and mailing address: Kingdom Farms Inc, Box 350 Bentley, AB, T0C 0J0\r\n\r\nApply by clicking on APPLY TO THIS POSITION\r\nIn your application, you must include a cover letter and Job reference number Farm Supervisor\r\n\r\nOnly candidates selected for an interview will be contacted\r\n
