PHYSICAL THERAPIST - HOME HEALTH - PART TIME or FULLTIME

Green Valley/Sahuarita, Arizona areas

Locally owned Tucson agency now hiring compassionate, patient-oriented physical therapists, who value a one-on-one relationship with their patients. Immediate need for physical therapists to provide in-home therapy for home-bound, primarily geriatric, patients throughout the Green Valley/Sahuarita areas.

SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABILITY DEPENDING ON WHETHER FULL TIME OR PART TIME

Compensation can be for full time or part time, salaried, hourly, or PRN/per visit. Pay rates have averaged $75 to $125 per hour depending on factors often contolled by the therapists. Because PAY IS PER VISIT, hourly rates are estimates, based on how efficiently time is used for visits, documentation, and travel. Using the same visit rate, hourly estimates will vary from one therapist to another.

Our therapists are not required to do Oasis Starts of Care!

Mileage reimbursement is $.50 per mile

Paid sick/family leave time off.

The ideal candidate must be licensed to work as a physical or occupational therapist in the state of Arizona.

The therapist will provide therapy services to patients according to a written physician's plan of care which will, in part, include:

Assessing and evaluating therapeutic/rehabilitative/functional status, and participation in the development of the total plan of care, as well as evaluating the home environment.

Assessing for muscle strength, mobility, gait, ROM--potential for rehab.

Directing physical or occupational therapy treatment.

Instructing patients and families/caregivers in the use and care of therapeutic appliances.

Determining priority needs for physical or occupational therapy.

Reporting to physician patient's reaction to treatment or changes in condition.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $75.00 - $110.00 per hour
