About the role
Care Upfront is looking for compassionate, reliable and experienced Support Workers to join our Tauranga team. We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide home-based support to our clients living with complex care needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide high-quality, person-centred care, supporting our clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life in the comfort of their own home and community.
Key responsibilities
Providing personal cares, household assistance and community support.
Assisting with mobility, daily living activities and complex care needs.
Following individualised care plans while promoting independence, dignity and choice.
Building positive, respectful relationships with the client and their whānau.
About you
Previous experience in healthcare, disability or home-based support.
Experience supporting clients with spinal cord injuries or complex care needs (preferred).
NZ Certificate in Health & Wellbeing Level 3 or 4, or equivalent (preferred).
A compassionate, patient and reliable approach to care.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Full NZ Driver's Licence (essential).
Ability to pass police vetting and legal right to work in NZ.
