Our 4.5-star hotel is looking for a Kitchen Hand to join our friendly and professional team.

Your day-to-day

As a Kitchen Hand, you will be required to complete shifts as part of our kitchen team. Your key duties include:

Help clean equipment, preparation areas, and general utensils used in our busy kitchen

Adhere to kitchen hygiene, food, and health and safety standards

Assist with ensuring our chefs can provide a smooth food service that reduces waste and delivers delicious meals

Assist with preparation and serving food as required - for conferences, breakfasts, dinners or staff meals!

⁠Packaging food items for room service / breakfast boxes or other items

⁠Clean dirty cutlery and crockery to ensure it is ready for service

Deliver staff meals to the canteen

⁠Help create a safe space by following our safety procedures and wearing necessary protective equipment

Ensure deliveries are put away in their correct space

Skills and Experience

We'd love to hear from candidates with previous experience in a kitchen environment or similar.

Full ability to work an array of days and shift times including public holidays and weekends.

Work a minimum of 30 guaranteed hours per week

Be physically fit and able - as part of the role, you will often be lifting, push and pull big objects, which could weigh up to 23 kg

Be a strong team player and fit into a tight-knit team
