\r\n\r\nJob Description\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Opportunity:\r\n\r\nThis key position within the Maintenance Department is responsible for the day-to-day operations within the Maintenance Stock room.  The incumbent will report to the Maintenance Manager. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that parts and supplies are ordered, received, and issued for Maintenance personnel. They maintain the inventory management and warehousing long- term strategies based on the consequences of equipment failure and the business’ needs/acceptable risks (i.e., unscheduled downtime versus inventory levels).\r\n\r\n\r\nAny MLF team member interested in being considered for this role are encouraged to apply online by October 06. Applications received beyond that date are not guaranteed consideration.\r\n\r\n\r\nReason for vacancy:  Existing Headcount \r\nBase Salary:   $47,000 - $69,000 CAD base pay annually\r\n \r\n\r\nThe above base salary reflects the target compensation for the position at the time of posting. The base salary offered may vary based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, education, training, job- related knowledge, and other organizational requirements. For part-time roles, salaries are adjusted according to scheduled hours. \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSnapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tDaily review of parts and supplies issued from stock inventory\r\n\tTransactions for automatic replenishment\r\n\tReceiving and proper placement in location of all maintenance related parts inventory, work order related materials, contractor service reports and accounting for correct values\r\n\tSet Min/Max levels based on usage rate, usage patterns, delivery times, targeted service levels, equipment criticality and required safety stock levels\r\n\tInvestigate and follow-up on shipping variances and invoice discrepancies with suppliers\r\n\tDaily cycle counts of stockroom inventory and monitoring variances reports as per C3\r\n\tPrepare packages for shipment, prepare required documentation and schedule pick-ups\r\n\tOrganization of stock room inventory and re-organization of new parts as required\r\n\tPicking and staging of materials for work orders and assigning costs\r\n\tTechnical structure in relation to parts (Bill of Materials) building with maintenance team.\r\n\tFollow Maple Leaf C3 policies and procedures related to receiving and inventory\r\n\tGeneral housekeeping of stockroom\r\n\tAttend Maintenance Team meetings and communicate updates for parts to team\r\n\tPrepare Obsolete parts identification and documents for disposal\r\n\tPO generation for goods and services and communicate to suppliers and vendors\r\n\tPerform other duties as assigned\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhat You’ll Bring:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tHigh School Diploma or equivalent (ex.
