Mō te Tūranga | About the Role

This is a Full Time position working Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 4:30pm in New Market, Auckland.

You are responsible to proactively support the company through doing accurate and timely presentations of financial results. This includes analysis, preparation and reconciliation of finance data.

Ngā Responsibilities Matua | Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining fixed assets register, reviewing general ledger, and assisting the accounts receivable and payable where needed.

Assist in the evaluation of opportunities including data gathering, modelling, and interpretation of results.

Assist with the preparation of the company’s monthly management accounts.

Producing Group & Individual sites monthly trading results, including a review of variances. Supporting Care Home and Village managers to understand their financial results.

Assist in the development of new reports to meet the needs of the business. Seeks ways to increase the efficiency and timeliness of the monthly accounting close process.

Identifies opportunities for improvements and implements.

Mōu | About you:

A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, with strong skills in reporting.

Experience in aged care business is essential

High standard of technical knowledge and strong analytical skills;

Good communicators and able to relate well to internal and external stakeholders;

Well-rounded in accounting with a focus on detail;
