Develop and implement security and protection strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the safety and security of Qualcomm's employees, facilities, and assets.

Oversee and manage a team of security professionals, providing guidance, support, and resources to ensure the effective execution of security protocols.

Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and develop appropriate mitigation plans.

Maintain and update security systems, such as access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, to ensure their effectiveness.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and implement security measures for new projects and initiatives.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in security technology to continuously improve and enhance Qualcomm's security posture.

Develop and maintain relationships with law enforcement agencies and other external partners to ensure a timely and effective response to security incidents.

Conduct training and awareness programs for employees to educate them on security protocols and procedures.

Prepare and maintain security budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources while maintaining a high level of protection.

Stay informed about local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to security and ensure Qualcomm's compliance.

Investigate and respond to security incidents, including conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.

Represent Qualcomm in meetings and conferences related to security and protection, and serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders.

Foster a culture of security awareness and accountability across the organization.

Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills and exercises to test their effectiveness.

Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on security and protection metrics, risks, and incidents.
