• Westbury Pharmacy in Waikanae  and Unichem Kilbirnie Pharmacy are seeking dedicated and compassionate Mobile Outreach Nurse Vaccinators to join our team either in Waikanae or Kilbirnie.
• We are looking for nurses to support our outreach team as well as on site vaccinators.
• The successful candidate will provide high-quality vaccination services within the community, ensuring accessibility and convenience for patients in Waikanae and Kilbirnie areas.

Responsibilities

• Administer vaccinations in various community settings, in the pharmacies, including resthome, homes, workplaces, and community centers.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Provide education and information to patients regarding vaccinations, including potential side effects and benefits.
• Ensure cold chain management and proper storage of vaccines.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support public health initiatives.
• Engage with the community to promote vaccination uptake and awareness.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
• Report any adverse reactions to the appropriate authorities.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate in New Zealand.
• Valid Vaccination Certificate.
• Experience in vaccination services and community outreach preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
