**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative to grow our industrial door and dock equipment business throughout Utah. Our company specializes in the sales, installation, and service of industrial garage doors, loading dock equipment, and related systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

This role focuses on developing new opportunities, building strong relationships with general contractors, property managers, owners, and end users, and securing both aftermarket and new construction projects.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, relationship-driven, and comfortable managing multiple opportunities while maintaining a strong sales pipeline. You will also coordinate with internal teams to ensure successful project execution and high customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Specific duties may evolve as business needs develop and will be refined collaboratively. Core responsibilities include:
  • Prospecting and developing new construction and outside-aftermarket opportunities within assigned territory
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with contractors, owners, and key decision-makers
  • Preparing estimates, proposals, and bid submissions
  • Working with internal team in negotiating contracts and securing purchase orders
  • Managing projects from award through completion
  • Coordinating internally with operations, fabrication, graphics, and installation teams to ensure project success
  • Monitoring project profitability, changing orders, and billing accuracy
  • Identifying and developing repeat business and long-term account growth
  • Maintaining accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
  • Performing all assigned duties safely, professionally, and in alignment with company standards
  • Performing other reasonably related duties as assigned
  • Managing projects and maintaining pricing accuracy.
  • Coordinating installation schedules.
  • Handling, paperwork, and purchase orders.
  • Maintaining sales, and quotes in JobFilez.
  • Adhering to end-of-month procedures.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction with a courteous, service -oriented attitude to foster long-term partnerships
  • Driving revenue growth.

**Qualifications:**

  • 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in construction, building materials, industrial equipment, or commercial services
  • Experience working with general contractors, facility managers, property managers, or industrial clients
  • Ability to develop new business through prospecting, networking, and relationship building
  • Strong skills in estimating, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation
  • Ability to manage projects from initial opportunity through completion
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
  • Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and jobsite coordination preferred
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, email, and standard office software
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout Utah for customer meetings and jobsite visits
  • Experience with industrial garage doors, overhead doors, loading dock equipment, or access systems
  • Experience in commercial construction or subcontractor sales
  • Knowledge of estimating or project management within the construction industry
