People & Culture Coordinator
Job Description
The Client
Our client is a well-established and highly regarded business in the fleet and leasing sector. It's known for long-term partnerships, strong leadership and a genuine focus on its people.
This is a business that walks the talk on culture. The team is diverse, down-to-earth and genuinely supportive, and people tend to stay because they feel they belong. There's a real buzz in the office, with an active social club, regular staff events and volunteer days that give back to the community. Leadership is approachable and invested in their people, and wellbeing, inclusion and recognition are taken seriously rather than treated as tick-box exercises.
The P&C team sits at the heart of all this, shaping how employees, candidates and partners experience the business. They need a capable, organised coordinator on a 6-month fixed-term contract, starting immediately. This suits someone who can hit the ground running and keep things moving from week one.
The Opportunity
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with an immediate start. Reporting to the People & Culture Business Partner, you'll support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding through to employee records, wellbeing and events. You'll work closely with the wider business, P&C colleagues in Australia and external suppliers.
You'll be:
Coordinating onboarding, inductions and recruitment support
Preparing employment documentation, including IEAs, variation letters and visa support letters
Supporting payroll inputs and leave records, and keeping employee files accurate and compliant
Managing the P&C inbox, intranet content and the monthly org chart
Supporting Health & Safety, including meeting minutes, training and audit follow-ups
Helping deliver wellbeing, DEI and social events, and drafting internal communications
Assisting with the HRIS implementation
About You:
You'll be an organised, detail-focused coordinator who enjoys variety, handles confidential information with care and builds rapport easily with people across a business.
Proven experience in a coordination, administration, HR or brand support role
Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication
Confident with Microsoft Office, with experience in Salesforce or HR systems
HR, recruitment, events or internal comms experience is a bonus
Available to start immediately, and no later than 1 December
