Job Description

Endura Mining Overview

This is a rare opportunity to join Endura Mining at a foundational stage and help shape its future from the ground up. With active site operations in New Zealand and a growing Sydney based corporate team, we are entering an exciting phase of rapid growth and transformation.

Endura is led by a world class executive team with deep operational experience and a shared long-term vision to build a modern, values driven mining company.

With production targeted within the next 12 months, our strategy is to grow into a multi asset business operating 3 to 5 gold and copper projects

Job Requirements

We are seeking Processing Operators to operate the Snowy River processing plant and associated fixed and mobile equipment, ensuring shift production targets are achieved safely and on time. Reporting to the Processing Supervisor, you will operate and monitor the plant across crushing, milling, gravity and intensive leach, flotation, concentrate filtration and bagging, tailings placement and water management.

This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in running equipment well, keeps a tidy and safe work area, and works well as part of a shift crew. It would suit an experienced plant operator, or someone with strong mechanical aptitude and the right attitude looking to build a career in mineral processing.

Job Responsibilities

Safety, Health, Environment & Community (SHEC)

Take personal responsibility for your own safety and that of those around you, intervening when you see unsafe work or conditions.

Work in accordance with all relevant New Zealand health, safety and environmental legislation, site permits, and Endura Mining policies, procedures and the site safety and health management system.

Identify, report and help control hazards; participate in pre-start meetings, toolbox talks, risk assessments and incident investigations.

Promote a positive safety culture and demonstrate behaviours aligned with Endura Mining's values.

Plan daily work activities to comply with health, safety and environmental standards and site procedures.

Assume the role of Job Controller for piping and vessel permits where required, in accordance with site procedures.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping in your work area each shift.

Plant Operation

Operate and monitor all equipment within the processing plant, including crushers, mills, pumps, conveyors, the gravity and intensive leach circuits, flotation, concentrate filtration, bagging and logistics, and tailings management, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

Monitor process flows and adjust operating parameters to optimise metal recovery and achieve production targets.

Conduct regular inspections and housekeeping to ensure safe, reliable operation in line with site standards, procedures and policies.

Monitor and maintain water recovery and delivery systems each shift, as per site operating procedures.

Support & Continuous Improvement

Monitor the use of consumables and reagents daily, against required operating standards and parameters.

Raise maintenance requests and store reservations for repairs, spares and consumables in accordance with site procedures.

Teamwork & Communication

Communicate effectively with other crew members so production targets are met and issues are addressed promptly.

Participate in incident investigations when requested by the Shift Supervisor.

Contribute to a positive, supportive work environment that promotes safety, teamwork and continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring

Essential

Physical suitability and aptitude to work in a processing facility, including shift work.

Demonstrated experience operating in a mineral processing plant, or strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine willingness to learn.

A genuine commitment to working safely and looking out for your teammates.

Ability to follow instructions and procedures, with sound attention to detail.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a crew.

Note on qualifications: There are no formal education requirements for this role. Practical experience, mechanical aptitude and the right safety mindset matter far more to us than formal qualifications — and we are happy to train the right person.

Favourable (not essential)

Experience in gold processing, particularly grinding and flotation plants.

Experience with SCADA systems and other process control technology.

Machinery operating tickets / competencies such as forklift, front-end loader or telehandler.

Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for process improvement.

Current driver's licence.
