This full-time post is available on a fixed term contract for 12 months as a maternity cover. We would, ideally, be looking for a candidate to start by 1st May. Applications for internal secondments will be considered subject to agreement from your current line manager.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
The Strategic Delivery Unit sits at the heart of the University’s strategic transformation activities. We deliver the University’s highest profile projects and programmes that change organisational structures, processes, technology, buildings and culture.
We have an opportunity for a Programme Manager to join our Transnational Education (TNE) Programme team to continue the delivery of the University's ambitious and exciting strategy to expand its portfolio of large-scale TNE partnerships. The expansion includes the University's new Joint Education Institute in China and a teaching presence in Egypt, with a growing number of other global opportunities in development. The role will lead a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate efficient and effective programme delivery and will support University Executives in the assessment and development of the TNE portfolio.
We are looking for someone with an established track record of delivering large, complex programmes and projects. With proven experience in consultation, negotiation, and relationship management to help progress new TNE opportunities. Pro-active and results oriented, the successful candidate will be capable of engaging with senior stakeholders across the organisation and with strategic partners across the globe, to design and deliver our TNE programme.
