Restaurant Manager

About the role

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of CBK Ferrymead, working closely with the Head Chef and Group Management team. You will ensure that customers receive consistently excellent service while maintaining strong standards across staffing, compliance, labour management, stock control and overall venue performance.

Key responsibilities

Leading and developing the front-of-house team

Managing day-to-day restaurant and bar operations

Maintaining excellent customer service standards

Managing staff rosters and controlling labour costs

Recruiting, training and developing team members

Managing bookings, functions and busy service periods

Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing and host responsibility requirements

Maintaining strong health and safety standards

Managing stock, ordering and wastage

Monitoring venue performance and helping achieve financial targets

About you

Has previous Restaurant Manager, Venue Manager, Assistant Manager or senior hospitality management experience

Is confident leading a busy restaurant and bar operation

Has strong people-management and communication skills

Understands labour costs, stock control and hospitality margins

Is organised and commercially minded

Has a strong customer-service focus

Can manage pressure and remain calm during busy services

Takes ownership and accountability for venue performance

Enjoys developing people and building a strong team culture

Is willing to be hands-on and lead from the front
