• An opportunity has become available for an experienced Safety Advisor to join a well-established national organisation on a fixed term contract until January.
• Based in Brisbane, this position supports multiple business units across Australia, partnering with operational and corporate stakeholders to strengthen safety outcomes across a diverse workforce.
• The Opportunity
• Reporting to a supportive and experienced leader, you'll play a key role in providing practical safety advice, incident support and risk management guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert safety advice and guidance across a national portfolio
• Support incident investigations and the management of corrective actions
• Assist with risk assessments and implementation of control measures
• Partner with operational leaders to drive a positive safety culture
• Review safety data, trends and reporting to identify opportunities for improvement
• Maintain accurate records and reporting through the organisation's safety management system
• Support compliance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures
• Contribute to safety projects, initiatives and continuous improvement activities
• About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring

• Previous experience in a Safety Business Partner, Safety Advisor or similar WHS role
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation and best practice
• Experience supporting incident investigations and risk management processes
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• The ability to build trusted relationships across operational and corporate teams
