About the Role

This is a seasonal fixed term role supporting our Bin Tip, Coolstore, or Yard operations during the Main Pack Season.

Please note: This role commences in February.

To secure your place for the season, shortlisted applicants will be required to complete a 30-minute forklift trial. Successful candidates from the trial will be confirmed for a February/March start on the completion of a Urine Drug Test.

In this role, you’ll operate forklifts either in the coolstores, work in the yard or in the bin tip area.

About You

• To excel in this position, you should demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
• At least 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to adapt to flexible work hours.
• Strong commitment to safety protocols.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Hold a current OSH Certificate.
• Prior experience in the kiwifruit industry would be beneficial.
• Honest, reliable, and possessing a strong work ethic with flexibility in work schedule, including night shifts, weekends, and extended hours during peak production and repack periods.
