Senior Service Engineer

Client & Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Service Engineer to provide hands-on technical support and deliver IT field services across multiple client sites.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex technical issues, working across different IT environments and supporting other engineers with their technical knowledge.
You'll be involved in a variety of work, from resolving escalated technical issues through to supporting equipment upgrades, network installations and site deployments. Working closely with internal technical teams and clients, you'll play an important role in ensuring reliable IT services and a positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide hands-on technical support across end-user computing, networking and IT infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and escalations.
Support IT installations, equipment upgrades, migrations and site deployments.
Install, configure and troubleshoot network and wireless equipment.
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other Service Engineers.
Work closely with clients, suppliers and internal teams to resolve technical challenges.
Manage competing priorities while ensuring work is delivered to a high standard.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, service records and handovers.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in IT field services, desktop support or a similar technical engineering role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across end-user devices, networking and IT infrastructure.
Hands-on experience with network installations, configuration and support.
Exposure to IT migrations, hardware refreshes or site deployments.
Confidence managing complex technical issues independently.
Ability to support and guide less experienced engineers.
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients.
A practical, proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
