Shipper Receiver – Inventory Count

At our facilities, our employees work with various types of meat including chicken, beef and pork. As this is a FULL-TIME permanent opportunity, we require the availability of 40 hours/week.\r\n \r\n\r\nHourly Wage Rate\r\n\r\nStarting Rate: $21.93/hour\r\nAfter 6 Months: $22.18/hour\r\nAfter 18 Months: $22.43/hour\r\nTop Rate (After 30 Months): $22.68/hour\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWage progression is based on the successful completion of the applicable service milestones and is subject to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement (where applicable)\r\n \r\n\r\nReason for vacancy: Existing Headcount\r\n \r\n\r\nAfternoon Shift: 3:30 pm – 12:30 am (Training may be scheduled during the AM Shift)\r\n\r\nYou must be legally eligible to work and currently residing in Canada.\r\n \r\n\r\nRoles and Responsibilities: The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain accurate daily inventory counts.\r\n\r\n\r\n\tManage and count physical raw material inventory on a daily basis.\r\n\tProvide inventory reports to the Raw Material Planning Specialist to support effective formulation planning.\r\n\tTransfer raw materials physically and in SAP between freezers and coolers according to production requirements provided by Raw Material Planning Specialist or Inventory Supervisor.\r\n\tSort the dry ingredients in the warehouse according to allergen matrix and keep the warehouse clean all the time.\r\n\tAct as a liaison between the shipping department and all functional department/areas\r\n\tAnalyze and investigate all inventory discrepancies as requested/correct any SAP system discrepancies and invoices related issues\r\n\tEnter delivery inbound in SAP for shipping personnel as needed, MIGO transactions as required\r\n\tProvide support and back up to the Shipper and Receivers as required\r\n\tResponsible for coordinating and scheduling all outbound traffic for finished goods going to EDC, MWDC or US for local and long-distance loads\r\n\tResponsible for coordinating and scheduling all inbound delivery coming into the facility\r\n\tCoordinate with Production to ensure material required for long-distance loads are ready (including US shipments).\r\n\tSchedule load and ensure target goals.\r\n\tHelp manage any ad hoc requests.\r\n\tAdditional duties as assigned by the Supervisor\r\n\tPick up and put away received product/components\r\n\tLocated materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders/production line\r\n\tSet’s up materials for afternoon production / next day\r\n\tSupply planning for volume\r\n\tLogistics for storage\r\n\tInventory Adjustments\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nFood Safety/Quality:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tResponsible for correct allergen and material labeling\r\n\tDirect and coordinate personnel to ensure material is received and stored in the proper identified area as well as ensure FIFO/SOP are being followed\r\n\tMaintain shipping records, including tracking and shipping history information and provide information for traceability as needed\r\n\tEnsure freezer/coolers in RAW and RTE inventory is stored following and sanitation wash cycles are completed \r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nHealth and Safety:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMaintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections\r\n\tDemonstrated ability to wear proper PPE and comply with safety requirements\r\n\tPulling, pushing, twisting, bending, heavy lifting and standing\r\n\tPreferred candidate with forklift experience (Counter balance, reach truck, double-reach)\r\n\tLift truck certification is required\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nWhat's in it for you?\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAfternoon shift premium available\r\n\tOpportunity for overtime during the weekdays and on weekends.\r\n\tBenefits available after one month of your start date.\r\n\tRRSP/Pension Plans\r\n\tQuarterly Gain Share Incentive plan\r\n\tEmployee Assistant program\r\n\tProgression wage increases\r\n\tAll PPE is provided to employees (Earmuffs, boots, jacket, etc.)\r\n\tSupport of a union\r\n\tHighly automated and fast-paced learning environment\r\n\tOpportunities for growth and training development \r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n
