About this opportunity

At Cumberland Council, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive. We're looking for passionate and dedicated Social Workers who want to make a lasting difference for children, young people and families across our communities.

In this role, you'll build meaningful relationships, listen to and champion the voice of the child, and work alongside families and partner agencies to create positive change. You'll use your skills and professional judgement to assess needs, manage risk and develop plans that help children achieve the best possible outcomes.

You'll join a supportive and inclusive team where collaboration, learning and professional development are encouraged. Whether you're newly qualified and building your experience or looking to continue your social work career, you'll be part of a service that values your contribution and puts children at the heart of everything we do.

If you're committed to making a real difference and helping children and families reach their full potential, we'd love to hear from you.

This role is available on a permanent basis.
