Sourcing Manager Indirect Commodities

ABOUT THE COMPANY

EROAD is a global fleet management technology company listed on both the NZX and ASX, known for its integrated hardware and software platform used by fleet operators across New Zealand, Australia and North America. As the business continues to grow, it is looking for an experienced Indirect Sourcing Manager to own sourcing across its indirect categories and drive down spend.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You will take ownership of sourcing across a broad range of indirect categories, working closely with teams across the business to deliver results.

Develop and execute sourcing strategies across categories such as travel, software, services, marketing and telecom

Lead RFQ, RFP, tender and negotiation processes from start to finish

Manage supplier relationships end to end, from identification and evaluation through to onboarding and ongoing management

Analyse spend, demand and supplier markets to uncover savings and manage supply risk

Partner with Finance, Legal, People & Culture, IT, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering and Product to align sourcing with business needs

Juggle multiple sourcing initiatives at once in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

WHAT YOU NEED

We're after someone who brings depth of experience across sourcing or procurement rather than a specific title.

5+ years in sourcing, procurement, strategic supplier management, category management or a related supply chain role, or an equivalent background in procurement or category management

Experience developing and executing sourcing strategies across diverse indirect categories

Solid negotiation skills with a track record of leading RFQ, RFP or tender processes

Strong supplier relationship management skills, from identification and selection through to onboarding and ongoing governance

Sharp analytical ability to assess spend, demand, supplier markets, cost drivers and supply risk

Polished stakeholder communication skills across cross-functional teams

• A clear focus on driving spend reduction
• Experience building supplier pipelines or alternative sourcing options to strengthen resilience is a plus
• Experience maintaining sourcing, supplier or contract data for governance and reporting is a plus
