**About the Role**

A unique opportunity to step into a senior legal position within a listed national organisation on a **6‑month fixed‑term contract**, providing high‑level support on complex administrative and regulatory matters. A key focus of the role is coordinating and managing responses to regulatory notices and inquiries, supported by broader exposure to commercial and operational legal work across the business.

The Special Counsel reports to the Company Secretary/General Counsel and works closely with a cohesive, high‑performing in‑house team comprising four lawyers and three student paralegals.

Flexible work‑from‑home arrangements may be accommodated.

**What You’ll Bring**

  • Australian legal practitioner with a current practising certificate
  • Circa 10+ years’ broad corporate/commercial in‑house experience
  • Expertise in administrative law and regulatory matters
  • Strong communication, analytical and relationship‑building skills
  • Pragmatic, collaborative approach and ability to triage priorities effectively
