Job Description

We are currently seeking a reliable Stockyard Hand to join our team at SPM Malvern, located 30mins from Christchurch.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has worked in a manufacturing environment and has worked with stock previously. This role requires working with live animals and in a team environment and therefore experience in animal welfare/ working with animals is preferred; however full training is available to those who can demonstrate they have the right attributes to be successful in this role.

Key responsibilities of the position include

Receiving of stock and relevant processes

Supporting the management of animal welfare within the department

Reconciling the stock numbers and daily process figures

Communicating with other departments and key personnel to ensure efficient receipt and processing of stock

Making sure that all compliance and regulatory requirements are strictly adhered to

Continuously improving standards and efficiency

* Recording and processing documentation/departmental administration in an accurate and timely manner
