Storeperson - Cold Store

About the opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Storeperson / Forklift & Reach Driver to join a busy food manufacturing and distribution operation in Silverdale.

This is a full-time, long-term assignment with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

The role is mainly focused on moving stock through the warehouse using forklift and reach trucks, along with general stores and warehouse duties.

An important part of the role is the environment – approximately 80% of your shift will be spent working in a freezer at around -21°C. Full freezer PPE is provided and regular breaks are taken outside the freezer.

Responsibilities

Operating forklift and reach truck

Picking and moving stock throughout the warehouse

Loading and unloading deliveries

RF scanning and stock movements

Preparing orders for dispatch

Experience & Skills

Current forklift operator certificate

Current reach truck certificate

Recent reach truck operating experience

Comfortable working for extended periods in a -21°C freezer

Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious

Reliable transport to Silverdale
