About the Role
Nash Alliance Ltd is a CQC-registered care provider seeking compassionate, reliable and dedicated Support Workers / Healthcare Assistants to join our domiciliary care team in Southampton.
You will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing.
Working Hours and Flexibility
Part-Time: Up to 20 hours per week.
Full-Time: Up to 40 hours per week, normally across five working days, averaging approximately eight working hours per day.
Flexible Rotas: Some weeks may involve working across six days, depending on care requirements and agreed arrangements.
Service Operating Hours: Approximately 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Individual shifts and care visits will be scheduled within this period with cosideration to resting hours.
Morning, afternoon, evening and weekend availability may be required.
All rotas will be arranged in accordance with applicable working-time, rest-break and employment requirements.
Main Responsibilities
- Providing personal care and assistance with daily living.
- Supporting medication in accordance with care plans and training.
- Assisting with mobility, meals, hydration and companionship.
- Promoting independence, dignity and wellbeing.
- Maintaining accurate daily care records.
- Identifying and reporting safeguarding or health concerns.
Requirements
- Previous care experience is desirable.
- Good communication skills and a compassionate approach.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Flexibility to work allocated shifts and occasional weekends.
- Satisfactory Enhanced DBS and pre-employment checks.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
