**ABOUT THE COMMUNITY**

Cranberry Portage Elementary School is a Nursery to Grade 8 school with approximately 85 students located in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. Cranberry Portage is a scenic “cottage country” community of approximately 1,000 people located 50 km south of Flin Flon. Community services include a gas station, health centre with ambulance service, community recreation centre and arena and regular air service (Flin Flon & The Pas).

**WHAT YOU BRING**

• Bachelor of Education Degree and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for)
• Master's degree in education/administration and/or Certificate in School Leadership would be an asset
• At least five years of teaching experience and five years of administrative experience
• Previous success with development and implementation of short and long-term school-based plans
• A sound knowledge and experience with school-based technology
• Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset)
• Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset)
