Trade Marketing Analyst

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscapes within the produce industry for specific retail initiatives
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to analyze sales data, market share, and performance metrics; generate insights to assess the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and identify opportunities for growth
• Utilize data analytics tools and techniques to assess the performance of past promotions and evaluate their impact on sales, customer engagement, and brand awareness; generate insights to inform future promotional strategies
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for differentiation; provide recommendations to enhance competitive positioning and market share
• Analyze pricing dynamics and market trends to optimize pricing strategies for maximum profitability and competitiveness; monitor pricing changes in the market and recommend adjustments as needed
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to align trade marketing efforts with business objectives; communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders effectively

Requirements

• Post secondary education in business, analytics or other related disciplines
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information
• Exceptional communication abilities, active listening skills and written communication skills
• Ability to maintain respectful relationships at all levels within and outside the organization
• Proficiency in ERP, KPI Portals and Microsoft Office more specifically Excel and Nav
• Ability to identify issues and problem solve independently using appropriate resources internally and externally
• Displays strong initiative and able to work independently with little direction, within a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
