About Ward 7 North

Ward 7 North is a 24-bed acute renal ward belonging to the Medical & Cancer Services Division.

We provide a safe, friendly and supportive environment with a strong patient focus.

We aim to achieve an optimal outcome for all our patients and strive for continual quality improvement with care and compassion for all.

About the role

This advertisement is for a permanent part-time ward clerk.

Saturday: 0900-1530

Sunday: 0900-1530

Every 2nd Thursday: 0800-1630

A regular day will see you

Supporting the administration needs of the ward

Answering phones & greeting patient visitors

Preparing patient files to be sent to medical records

Maintaining patient confidentiality

Collaborating with nursing and other teams to promote prompt and efficient communication with patients and their families

About you

As the Ward Clerk, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You'll bring energy and drive to your work and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.

To be successful in this role you'll bring with you
