Aluminium Fabricator / Welder / Installer

Our client, a locally owned manufacturer of aluminium pergolas, carports, gates and screens, is looking for an experienced Aluminium Fabricator / Welder to join their Tauranga based team.

This is a varied role split between the workshop and installs on site, so you won’t be stuck in a workshop all day.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position. Standard hours are 7:30am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime required to finish jobs on site.

Your work will include

• Fabricating and TIG welding aluminium components in the workshop
• Measure, cut, assemble, and finish a variety of custom aluminium products
• Traveling to customer sites and installing pergolas, carports, outdoor blinds, gates and screens
• What We’re Looking For

You’ll need

At least 2 years experience aluminium TIG welding

At least 2 years experience aluminium fabrication

A full driver licence

Your own way to get to work (work van provided for site work)

A good work ethic and the right attitude

Install experience is an advantage but not essential

Applicants must have full rights to work in NZ. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
