**About the Role**

The Community Life Coordinator is responsible for creating, delivering, and sustaining a purposeful living and learning environment that contributes to the academic and personal success of students. The Coordinator provides leadership and oversight in the day-to-day community management of assigned residence communities, and the work of unionized staff which includes the approval of educational programming, expenses, and staff resources. Liaising with various campus and community partners, the Coordinator ensures the safety, security, health and wellbeing of those living within Residences, and all residence properties through student support, administrating the community standards process, and participating in an on-call rotation. While on call the role triages, responds to and/or manages resources during crises/emergency, and disciplinary situations after university business hours, through navigating department and university protocols.
