HSE Administrator Mexicano

We are recruiting for an experienced part-time HSE Administrator to work 30 hours per week on a fixed-term contract till end of 2028. We are ideally seeking someone available to work 5 days per week, 6 hours per day, to support consistent site coverage.

Reporting to the Site Manager, this role will support the delivery and ongoing visibility of HS&E initiatives across Mexicano Operations. You will play a key role in supporting H&S training, communication, reporting, and administration for the manufacturing site.

What you’ll be responsible for:

Maintaining and support occupational health and safety systems, policies, and procedures, including the site safety management system

Ensuring all mandatory compliance requirements, training records, and certifications are maintained and kept up to date.

Manage all incident investigations are completed in full and on time and the appropriate corrective actions are agreed upon and implemented on time.

Providing day-to-day HSE administrative support to the wider team.

Support H&S audits, inspections, and compliance activities.

Coordinating employee inductions and mandatory H&S training.

Undertaking other administrative duties as required as part of a small team

What you’ll bring to the role?

Tertiary qualification - with a Health & Safety-related endorsement ideal

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HSE administration, coordination or similar role.

Experience in supporting operational or manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of the Health and Safety at Work Act (HSWA) and relevant regulations.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Experience working with HSE software platforms and databases -will be of advantage)

A genuine commitment to promoting health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to work independently, stay organised and manage competing priorities effectively
