Job Description
Managing day-to-day operations, the full-time Manager of Insurance Verification & Authorizations will oversee staff verifying insurance benefits, providing cost estimates, and resolving financial needs for patients while ensuring excellent customer service in a remote setting.
##### Key responsibilities
Oversee the verification and authorization processes for scheduled patients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Develop and implement strategies, budgets, policies, and procedures to support operational objectives
Handle complex issues and ensure team milestones and goals are met while delivering exceptional service
##### Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration, or four years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
Five years of experience in an acute care hospital or health system admitting department/access or call center
Experience as a member of a multidisciplinary team
* Three years of supervisory or lead experience
