Principal Infrastructure Planner

Collaborate with technology providers, understand their portfolios, drive requirements, partner with internal stakeholders in engineering and business groups and drive innovation into Azure’s next generation data centers. Collaborate with data center engineering teams, strategize, and project infrastructure needs 2-5 years in the future, influence next generation data center development, and develop recommendations and strategy that give a unique edge to Azure hardware infrastructure. Partner with advanced architecture teams in pathfinding and productizing emerging technology trends and innovation. Perform roadmap scenario modeling, financial modeling, and market analysis for the recommended HW platform, infrastructure direction, factoring in performance, features, cost, and time-to-market tradeoffs.

Drive internal alignment on commodity technology platform plan of record.

Recommend internal and external process improvements and excellence conversations cross functionally to ensure we have optimized processes and aligned across partner teams.
