About the Role

Install, service, fault-find and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems, including diagnosing faults, completing repairs, carrying out preventative maintenance and commissioning systems.

Ensure all work is completed to a consistently high standard, meeting quality and safety requirements while supporting project delivery within scope, time and budget.

Report directly to the Service Manager, communicate effectively with customers and team members, and build strong working relationships through reliable, high-quality workmanship.

Provide guidance and support to apprentices where required.

Follow all health and safety procedures, identify potential risks, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Complete all job documentation accurately and promptly, including service reports, commissioning records and timesheets.

Demonstrate a strong work ethic, take pride in your work, and ensure jobs are completed right the first time while working efficiently with minimal supervision.

Skills & Experience

Trade-qualified in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (Level 4 or 5).

Current refrigerant fillers and handlers certification/licence.

Relevant electrical licence.

At least 2–3 years experience in HVAC and refrigeration service and maintenance.

Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

Competent with job management systems, service reporting and documentation

Full, clean New Zealand driver’s licence

Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
