Resident Care Aide (Overnights)

**Schedule:** 11pm - 7am

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday with rotating weekends

**Salary:** $16.00 - $17.00 per hour – based on experience

Shift differential offered for weekend, evening, and night shifts

We are currently seeking an energetic and dedicated **Resident Care Aide.**

**Resident Care Aide Responsibilities include:**

• Assisting our memory impaired residents to complete tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing while maintaining the residents’ dignity and promoting their independence
• Ensure compliance and understanding of all regulations regarding residents’ rights
• Maintain and document proper records of care
• Immediately report changes in resident’s condition to the supervisor: evidence of illness, changes in behavior, personal care needs not being met, medication issues, residents’ whereabouts unknown, etc.
• Promote and encourage residents to participate in community activities

**Resident Care Aide Education & Experience:**

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA, Home Health Aide-HHA, or Personal Care Aide-PCA certification preferred or as required by law
• One year working in a care giving capacity preferred
• Compassion for and desire to work with the elderly required
