Roles and Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Conversion proactively engage and follow up with leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Utilizing our CRM and tools to track, nurture, and convert prospects.
- Conduct calls to understand clients’ financial needs and present solutions that close the deal.
Relationship Building
- Develop strong partnerships internally within our company along with realtors, and industry professionals.
- Pitch and sell loan products confidently to prospective borrowers, guiding them through the loan process.
- Effectively negotiate rates, terms, and fees to meet customer needs and secure commitments.
Loan Structuring & Closing
- Strategically structure loans to align with clients’ financial goals and maximize approval rates.
- Present loan options in a clear and concise manner.
- Oversee the loan process from application to closing, ensuring a seamless experience for the borrower.
- Lock loans, manage the pipeline, and follow up on outstanding documents to speed up approvals.
Industry Expertise & Compliance
- Stay ahead of industry trends, lending guidelines, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with underwriting, escrow, and third parties to ensure smooth transactions.
- Use financial software and analytical skills to evaluate applications and determine eligibility.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years as a Loan Officer, Mortgage Broker, or similar sales-driven role.
- Must have a growth mindset and be proactive in anticipating company needs.
- Positive hard-working attitude and open to feedback.
- Proven ability to close deals.
- Tech-Savvy & Process-Oriented – Proficiency with LOS software, CRM tools, and automation.
- Ability to sell loan products, negotiate rates, and influence decisions.
- Strong Relationship Builder – Experience working with realtors and internal employees
- Regulatory Knowledge – Understanding of various loan programs, down payment assistance, and financial regulations.
- Must have, or be willing to get, a real estate license
