Senior Business Analyst

Contract Details:

9-month initial hourly rate contract, likely to extend

ASAP start, ideally within 2 weeks

Mostly remote, with travel to be on-site in Invercargill ideally fortnightly at minimum

Deliverables / Purpose

This role suits a Senior Business Analyst who is comfortable working across business readiness, process mapping, data quality and system integration points.

The primary focus is an ERP asset management implementation. The solution has already been selected, and the work is currently in business readiness. You’ll help clarify the current state, map processes, understand data quality issues, and work through the impact of disparate systems.

There are also several smaller initiatives in the pipeline, including grants management, bookings, cemetery systems, and property rating. The immediate priority is asset management, but there is likely to be ongoing work beyond the initial term.

Key Responsibilities

Lead process mapping activities

Assess current state data quality and disparate systems

Work across data and integrations with technical understanding

Support broader project delivery activities as requires

Contribute to other pipeline initiatives on smaller pieces of work

Skills and experience we need you to bring

Senior Business Analyst experience across systems, process and change

Solid process mapping and current-state analysis skills

Ability to work with data quality issues, integrations and disparate systems

ERP implementation experience, ideally within asset management or financial modules desirable

Confidence working with business stakeholders and technical teams

Comfortable joining quickly, asking good questions and building trusted relationships rapidly
