Structural Engineer

At Holmes, you'll work on meaningful projects that help shape communities across Aotearoa - from heritage and civic buildings to major new developments. With more than 70 years of history and a strong pipeline of work, we're looking for an early-career Structural Engineer to join our team.

About the role | Mō te TūrangaIn this role, you will:

Support the analysis and design of structural systems on a wide variety of projects

Work with experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes

Contribute to projects that are technically challenging, rewarding, and socially important

Prepare calculations, reports, and other technical documentation

Continue developing your understanding of seismic design and engineering best practice in New Zealand

About you | Mōu

We're keen to hear from people who have

• A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• From 1 to 3 years' relevant experience in structural engineering
• Some exposure to structural analysis and design
• An interest in seismic design and the New Zealand built environment
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
