Tow Truck Driver/Operator

**Job Summary**

Chariot Automotive & Towing is seeking experienced tow truck drivers / operators. Light duty positions are available. All applicants should have a minimum of 2 years experience and be familiar with vehicle towing and recovery techniques. Most towing will be done for police departments, local and state, and will consist of impounds or vehicle accidents. Relocation towing is also available. We are willing to train the right candidate. All applicants must be able to pass a drug test, as well as a police background check.

Candidates should be highly motivated, courteous, customer friendly, and willing to put in extra hours when busy, and when weather requires.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a light duty tow truck
• Load and unload vehicles
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect truck before and after shifts

Qualifications

• Previous tow truck driving experience, 2 years experience preferred
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong work ethic
• Clean MVR

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
