• ABOUT THE ROLE
• Norton Gold Fields is seeking an experienced Underground Electrical Superintendent to support our Tuart underground operations.
• This is a senior leadership role responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground power systems, ensuring reliability across current operations while supporting new site developments and electrical upgrades.
• You will play a key role in driving safety, operational performance and continuous improvement across the electrical function.

Key responsibilities include

• Lead and manage underground electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Ensure reliable power supply to support production and minimise downtime
• Oversee electrical installations, upgrades and infrastructure projects
• Plan and execute shutdown strategies and maintenance schedules
• Provide leadership and direction to site electrical teams
• Ensure compliance with WA mining legislation and site standards
• Carry out duties as a Statutory Supervisor / Electrical Nominee
• Work closely with production and technical teams to deliver operational outcomes
• Support new projects and expansion activities across site
• ABOUT YOU
• Electrical Trade Certificate or Engineering qualification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in underground mining
• Proven leadership experience supervising electrical teams
• Strong understanding of underground power systems and maintenance
• Current Statutory Supervisor qualification (essential)
• Ability to build relationships and influence across teams
• Strong planning, problem-solving and communication skills
