Job Description
To enhance the quality of clinical documentation, the full-time salaried Washington RN Clinical Documentation Specialist will facilitate modifications through collaboration with healthcare providers and coding staff while ensuring appropriate reimbursement for services rendered, working remotely.
##### Key responsibilities
Improve the quality and completeness of clinical documentation through interactions with medical staff
Facilitate modifications to clinical documentation to ensure appropriate reimbursement
Organize and interpret information related to various policies, procedures, and programs
##### Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Washington State or with Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
Five years of recent ER and/or critical care clinical experience in a hospital setting
* Experience in utilization review and/or as a clinical documentation specialist preferred
