After Hours Call Centre Operator

Tradestaff are searching for our next superstar to join the team in Christchurch.

Tradestaff is searching for an energetic and friendly person to join our Support Team. This role was specifically created to provide extra support to our Recruitment Consultancy team nationwide.

The current rostered hours are

Sunday 10am to 4pm

Mon, Tues, Wed, 4pm to 9pm

This role could be a work from home or based out of our busy Central Christchurch Head Office. There may also be additional hours available at times during the weekdays and evenings to cover other call centre shifts.

What will you be doing?

You will be taking calls from around the country. You will be answering questions, solving problems, filling jobs, taking messages, updating the database or at times escalating calls to the on-call staff member at the appropriate branch.

When the phones are quiet you will be completing data entry tasks and other administration tasks to support our payroll team. Accuracy and attention to detail is very important in this role.

You will need to have a sound knowledge of Microsoft office and some good experience working with a database or within a call centre.

You will have an excellent telephone manner, a strong customer service focus, be flexible and can work well in a sole charge environment.

Full training will be provided, and the most important thing is that you are a positive, reliable and self-motivated person who is happy working in a sole charge and remote environment. You will need to be solution focused, calm under pressure and accurate with your notes to the system and communication with our workers, Clients and internal team.

Any administration or call centre experience would be extremely advantageous.
