Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Painter to join a reputable painting team working across residential and commercial projects in Rotorua. We're after someone who knows their trade, takes pride in quality finishes and can deliver professional results from preparation through to the final coat. If you've got solid painting experience and an eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Location: Rotorua, Bay of Plenty

Start date: Immediate

Pay rate: $30–$35 per hour + weekly pay

What You'll Be Doing

• Complete interior and exterior painting across residential and commercial properties
• Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, scraping and cleaning
• Carry out masking, priming and undercoating before painting
• Apply paints and protective coatings using brushes, rollers and suitable equipment
• Deliver smooth, consistent finishes to a high standard
• Assist with specialist coatings and spray painting where required
• Maintain clean, organised worksites and follow health and safety procedures

What We're Looking For

Proven professional painting experience — essential

Strong surface preparation and finishing skills

Experience with interior and exterior painting techniques

Excellent attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship

Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport

Airless spraying experience is advantageous

Reliable, hardworking and committed to workplace health and safety
