Tradestaff is looking for an experienced Carpenter for upcoming Ministry of Education and light commercial projects across Auckland. You’ll be working across a varied mix of construction work, so we’re looking for someone with solid trade skills, reliable workmanship and the ability to get stuck in from day one.

Location: Auckland City, Auckland

Start date: In approximately 2 weeks

Pay rate: $32–$35 per hour + weekly pay

What You’ll Be Doing

• Carry out carpentry work across Ministry of Education projects
• Work on a range of light commercial construction sites
• Complete renovation and alteration work
• Assist with recladding and remediation projects
• Complete framing, fixing and general carpentry
• Read plans and work accurately to specifications
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety

What We’re Looking For

Proven carpentry experience across commercial or residential construction

Strong all-round carpentry skills and quality workmanship

Own carpentry tools

Full NZ Driver Licence and reliable transport

Ability to meet clean MOJ requirements

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test

Reliable, safety-focused and comfortable working as part of a site crew
