A growing **real estate investment firm in Sonoma County** is adding a **Fund Controller** to take ownership of fund-level accounting and reporting across a multi-entity portfolio.

This role is less about maintaining the status quo—and more about **bringing structure, consistency, and long-term scalability** to an already successful platform.

You’ll be stepping into a position with strong fundamentals already in place, with the opportunity to **tighten reporting, refine processes, and create a more streamlined financial environment** across the organization.

The role requires someone comfortable operating both **in the details and at a higher strategic level** , with direct exposure to leadership and visibility across the business.

**What You’ll Be Responsible For**

• Leading **fund-level accounting and financial reporting** across multiple real estate investments
• Managing and reviewing **consolidations and fund rollups** across entities
• Overseeing **capital activity** , including investor contributions, distributions, and allocations
• Producing and enhancing **investor reporting**
• Ensuring consistency and accuracy across all financial data
• Identifying opportunities to **improve reporting workflows and internal processes**
• Coordinating audits and working alongside external tax partners
• Overseeing property-level accounting functions (internal and/or third-party)
• Managing and optimizing **Yardi** and related systems
• Supporting and mentoring accounting staff, as needed

**What You Bring**

• Demonstrated experience in **real estate fund accounting**
• Strong background in **fund rollups and multi-entity consolidations**
• Proficiency with **Yardi**
• Solid understanding of partnership structures and investor allocations
• Ability to assess current processes and implement improvements
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across teams and leadership
