An opportunity currently exists for a Laminator Operator to join our Altona site on a full-time basis. This role is responsible for safely setting up, operating and maintaining lamination machinery while meeting strict quality standards, production deadlines and customer specifications in accordance with applicable Pinnacle Bakery and Integrated Ingredients specifications and benchmarks.

Key Accountabilities

• Place or deposit product onto the production line.
• Mix and prepare ingredients according to recipe instructions, ensuring the end product meets specifications.
• Maintain layer integrity by ensuring precise fat-to-dough ratios and layer distribution as per process specification sheets.
• Complete 100% of pre-start food safety checks, ensuring no chemical residues from sanitation remain on rollers, belts or reduction gears.
• Execute allergen washdowns and line clearing procedures when transitioning between recipes.
• Minimise downtime by achieving 95% or higher machine uptime through proactive mechanical adjustments and synchronised line speeds.
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) policies, procedures and legislation.
• Regularly inspect and report OHS hazards, incidents or near misses in the work area.
• Clean up spills immediately in accordance with procedures.
• Dispose of waste appropriately.

About You

We're looking for someone who is proactive, safety-focused and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will ideally have:

Certificate in Food Safety.

First Aid Certificate Level 2 or above.

Good numeracy and literacy skills.

Clear and confident English communication skills.

Previous experience in an FMCG environment, ideally within the Food & Beverage industry.
