An opportunity currently exists for a State Account Manager – NSW based at our Macquarie Park site, driving success within our Industrial Sales team on a full-time permanent basis.
Key Accountabilities
Drive new business development by identifying opportunities outside the current portfolio and securing new customer relationships to support revenue growth.
Proactively secure new business opportunities with existing customers by leveraging current and new product offerings.
Manage state accounts to agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets.
Identify opportunities within existing customers and prepare and submit tenders.
Develop practical account plans for key accounts to secure long-term partnerships and contracts.
Maintain regular customer contact and complete business and quality reviews in a timely manner.
Ensure compliance with Quality, Milling, and ACCC requirements.
Own forecasting and reporting (weekly, monthly, and quarterly) and support the S&OP process.
The Successful Applicant Will Possess
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline (desirable).
Minimum 5-10 years' experience in account management and/or sales analysis.
Food manufacturing or bakery industry experience would be highly advantageous.
Proven ability to negotiate, influence, and drive customer outcomes.
Strong analytical and commercial acumen with a results-driven mindset.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Advanced Excel skills and strong overall IT capability.
Self-motivated, energetic, and able to work autonomously.
